Huingureum-gil is the only section that has a 12-meter-high observatory offering a spectacular view that looks across the whole of Bukhansan Mountain, Dobongsan Mountain, the center of Seoul, and as far as Suraksan Mountain on the other side of the city. The tower was named Gureum, meaning “clouds” in Korean, because the view from the tower is like looking down over the city from up in the clouds. Unlike most observatories, the stairway to the top is a spiral one, as it was designed for hikers’ convenience.
The trail is dotted with items of training equipment, making it ideal for those who enjoy physical training. Gangbuk-gu Office's ecological experience facility is also open to those who visit the path. Stop over for a learning experience that will make your trip even more interesting.
Beautiful views, outdoor workout equipment, and a learning experience await you on the Huingurum-gil trail.
