Hello, this is Korea National Park Service.
The Safety Guide Reservation System is a system that connects guides with users (tourists) who want a guide service to ensure safe and happy hiking.
A total of 45 hiking safety guides and (privately qualified) mountain expert instructors were fostered from 2018 and are now registered and active.
2020 is the test trail period. If you have any problems or improvement suggestions, please contact 033-769-9584 (Heo Yong-pil).
Please make good of these services and be sure to comply with the following matters.
<Users>
1. Observe personal quarantine rules for preventing COVID-19 and make sure to discuss with your guide regarding any change in schedule or guide.
2. As a payment function has yet to be applied in this system, guide cost is set by negotiation between users (tourists) and guides. Based on this trial period, a payment function may be adopted in the future.
3. Make sure to have personal insurance such as traveler's insurance before hiking.
4. Evaluate your guide on the system after hiking to enable us to provide improved services in future.
<Guides>
1. Observe personal quarantine rules for preventing COVID-19 and make sure to prioritize the safety of tourists.
2. Use of a proxy guide (disqualified or unregistered guide) is prohibited and in the event of an evitable need to change guides, discuss this change with users (tourists).
3. Operation is prohibited in off-limits areas or in the event of disasters such as a forest fire or rockslide.
4. Make sure to check if participants have personal insurance and take safety measures such as package insurance if necessary.
